Dr. Gaikhe has always been passionate about her work and goes a step further
to help her patients. She believes ‘Health is a Priority’ and hence advocates
for 'treating a patient as a whole instead of just their symptoms.'
Dr. Gaikhe earned her Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from India. She moved to the United States in 2009, to further her education. She received her Master of Science in Exercise Science from Oakland University in Michigan in August 2012, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May 2017 from Utica College, NY.
She brings us a variety of experiences from different settings: home health, skilled nursing and inpatient rehab. She has successfully earned the titles of Silver and Gold Clinical Leader by mentoring other therapists and students. Her manual skills allowed her to excel and achieve improved outcomes for patients with various diagnoses to include orthopedic, neurological and cardiopulmonary. Sarika is our certified lymphedema therapist who takes special interest in this population.
Dr Gaikhe joined our Pelvic Therapy team in December 2023, and has seamlessly transitioned into this amazing specialty. She helps her patients by providing knowledge about their conditions and equips them with tools for better quality of life through restoring function.
In her free time, she enjoys physical outdoors activities and spending time with friends & family. She has a special interest in visiting national parks and hiking trails.
